Brisbane-based law firm Barry.Nilsson. Lawyers is pressing on with its self-iniiated professional education role by introducing Queensland’s first professional development course for claims professionals this month.
The course is on Personal Injury Claims Management scheduled to be held in Brisbane on October 28.
The law firm’s partner Robert Samut leading the course said that managing third party injury claims was critical to the performance of an insurance company, underwriting agency, insurance brokerage and any business that retained an exposure to injury claims.
“Each student will acquire a detailed understanding of injury law and matters relevant to the management of personal injury claims specific to their role.”
The course is streamed to specifically accommodate students working in PIPA, motor accident and WorkCover claims.
The course is organised by Elevista, the Barry.Nilsson.Lawyers educational innovation.
