Megan O’Rourke & Robert Samut to speak at RMIA Conference in November

In November, Australia’s Risk Management industry will congregate in Melbourne for the event of the year.

The 8th Annual Risk Management Institution of Australia (RMIA) Conference is to be held from 20 to 22 November.

Elevista facilitator and Barry.Nilsson. Lawyers, Special Counsel Megan O’Rourke will be delivering a keynote address on day one.

Megan’s topic will be “A tweet and a post may harm you the most—managing reputation & cyber risks”.

Her presentation will explain that social media does not introduce new threats to corporate reputations, but manifests and exacerbates traditional risks in very different ways.

A topic that should be of interest to all of corporate Australia, Megan’s address is sure to spark discussions amongst conference delegates.

Elevista facilitator and Barry.Nilsson. Lawyers Partner Robert Samut will be delivering a workshop on Professional Indemnity Insurance during the professional development day on 20 November.

Robert’s workshop will be part of the Local Government Risk Managers’ Roundtable.

The RMIA Conference is in its 8th year and is expecting in excess of 650 professionals from the Asia Pacific region to attend.

As a facilitator for Elevista, Megan delivers in excess of 20 workshops and seminars a year.

Megan O’Rourke will also be speaking at an upcoming Women in Insurance Lunch in Brisbane on 25 October.
